Tirana, Albania
Open since 2009 in the Blloku district, Radio Bar furnishes itself out of Albania recent past: communist-era chairs, vintage photographs and film posters, and the collection of old radios that gives the bar its name. The cocktails lean on local spirits rather than importing a template, with raki treated as a base rather than a curiosity, and the house list runs from a blackberry and raki Rakberry to a Balkan Collins built on juniper raki and Albanian gin. Live music and DJ sets most nights.
