A London gin palace concept transplanted to Ginza under the direction of Yasuhiro Kawakubo, Punch Room held No. 36 on Asia's 50 Best by centring its programme on communal punch bowls built with Japanese spirits. The format encourages sharing in a city where solo drinking dominates, and the fusion of British punch tradition with Japanese distillation—rice shochu, craft sake, domestic gin—creates something that belongs to neither culture entirely. The room glows with warmth and candlelight.
