Golden Promise is a hidden bar on the second floor of The Crib food hall in Yucai House, on Chunxiu Road in Chaoyang. Its door is painted into a white-brick wall, so it is easy to walk past. Inside, the back bar carries a wide selection of international whiskies, from Scotland, Ireland and Japan and beyond. The cocktails are mostly elegant short serves, and a seat at the bar gives a view of the team at work. 50 Best Discovery lists it among Beijing's bars. It opens in the evenings, every day of the week.
