Bar Butler is a Japanese-style bar on two floors of Mody House in Tsim Sha Tsui, a sister to Bar Butler in Ginza, Tokyo. The 5th-floor cocktail bar sticks to precise classics such as an extra dry martini with a vermouth chaser, a perfect Manhattan, a shiso mojito and many variations on the Negroni and Old Fashioned, backed by a kitchen serving pastas, wagyu and cured hams. One floor up, the whisky bar pours a long list of single malts by region, from Springbank and Talisker to Macallan 18, and a deep Japanese range from Yamazaki, Hakushu, Yoichi, Miyagikyo and Taketsuru. The cocktail bar opens Tuesday to Saturday and the whisky bar Thursday to Monday, both from 5pm to midnight.
