Atomic Liquors on East Fremont Street holds Las Vegas tavern licence number 00001 and calls itself the city's oldest freestanding bar, opened by Joe and Stella Sobchik after their Virginia's Cafe. Scenes from Casino and The Hangover were filmed here, and a floor safe sealed around 1950 is on display under glass. The bar pours classic cocktails and a sour beer list, with food from the adjacent Kitchen at Atomic.
