Vera's is a downstairs cocktail bar in the former Somerville police headquarters on Union Square, run by the group behind Saloon, Foundry on Elm, The Independent and The Rockwell. The long drinks list comes with a martini service and a menu of comfort food, served until 11pm. On weekend nights a larger back room opens for DJ sets, and the bar also hosts karaoke, drag and comedy nights.
