Traveling Mercies is a small oyster and cocktail bar on the third floor of Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, opened in December 2023 by chef Caroline Glover and Nelson Harvey of the nearby restaurant Annette, in a room that once overlooked an airport runway. The cocktail list leans on rum and lesser-known classics, alongside sherry and gin martinis and coastal wines with plenty of acidity. Food centres on the raw bar, with oysters and shrimp cocktail, plus comfort plates such as wedge salad and rice pudding.
