The S.O.S. Tiki Bar

The S.O.S. Tiki Bar sits on Church Street in downtown Decatur and sums itself up in three phrases: powerful rum originals, south sea atmosphere, tropical luxury. The room is dressed for the part with palm trees, flamingos and banks of colorful plants, and frozen drinks arrive in coconut and pineapple vessels. Rum is the house obsession, and the back bar carries a deep selection to match the originals poured over it. Service runs Wednesday through Saturday from 6pm to midnight, with the bar dark from Sunday to Tuesday. Private events are handled through the wider Vic Brands group rather than at the bar itself.
