Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
Regional honoree for Best U.S. Hotel Bar at the 2026 Spirited Awards.
Shipwreck Bar is built around the restored schooner of Johnno and Helen Jackson, who sailed the South Pacific and founded Kona Village in 1965; the resort was destroyed by the 2011 tsunami and reopened under Rosewood in 2023 with the boat returned to its place on the beach. The menu leads with Conrad's Mai Tai, the resort's most famous drink, and Mick, The Jungle Bird, named for the myna bird that was the bar's mascot, with tropical classics built on apple-banana, liliko'i and Hawaiian chili.
