Moonglow is an intimate room in the heart of Uptown Oakland where a high fidelity sound system, fine cocktails and thoughtfully curated music carry the evening. The bar sits behind a door at the back of its sibling venue on Telegraph Avenue, and inside the focus falls on house, deep house, techno, bass music and electronica played by some of the Bay Area's best DJs from Thursday through Saturday. Snacks are served. The house rules are posted plainly: high vibrations only, kindness as clout, no creeps and no requests. Doors open in the early evening Wednesday through Saturday, and the room takes private bookings of fifteen to fifty.
