Maltail opened in September 2024 in Kaohsiung's Qianjin district, founded by the Taipei drinks writer Tonic Liu to build cocktail culture in the south of Taiwan. The glass-fronted standing bar builds original cocktails around single malt whisky, balanced with regional Taiwanese flavors.
