Malpractice is a small craft cocktail bar on Southeast Yamhill Street where the menu credits each drink to the bartender who built it. The list runs deliberately strange and technical, with house fermented ingredients, acid adjusted citrus, fat washes, and infusions turning up across drinks such as The Optimist's Daiquiri on stilton washed rum and God's Oopsiest Daisy on cold brew and rye. Under the Volcano, a mezcal build with Cynar and aloe vera liqueur, is marked on the menu as a house classic. There is a bitter hour list, wine, beer, sake, zero proof options, and food. Music matters here as much as the drinks.
