Jekyll writes that stepping into its room in Hyde Park feels like entering the fragmented mind of a modern day Dr. Jekyll, where refinement and quirkiness collide. The bar is reached off Oregon Avenue in Hyde Park Village and keeps evening hours only, closed at the start of the week and running to one in the morning from Thursday. Its cocktails lean on presentation as much as pour: Lost in Translation is a molecular drink brewed and smoked at the table, and the list is written page by page around themes drawn from the Stevenson novel that gives the bar its name. Jekyll also runs a High Tea service and books through OpenTable.
