Monica Berg reigns in the Bar World 100 rankings

Monica Berg, a Norwegian bartender and co-owner of the Tayēr + Elementary cocktail bar in London, has been named the most influential figure in the global bar industry for the third time in the Bar World 100 ranking. The international panel also determined that Remy Savage from A Bar with Shapes for a Name in London secured the second position, and the founder of Indie Bartender based in Barcelona, Danilo Nevský, claimed the third spot in the Drinks International Bar World 100 list for 2022. Professionals featured in the ranking represent over 40 locations worldwide. The majority hail from Europe, followed by North America and Asia, with London’s bar scene exerting the most significant influence ahead of New York and Singapore. The rankings are dominated by bar operators and bartenders, with notable contributions from beverage media and brand representatives.
