Giacomo Giannotti, the visionary founder of Barcelona’s world-renowned cocktail bar Paradiso, has announced the fourth annual Paradiso Sustainability Summit, in partnership with Ketel One. Set to take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, this year’s summit promises an inspiring mix of seminars, masterclasses, and a public cocktail festival that celebrates sustainable practices and innovation in the bar industry.
A Global Platform for Sustainability
The summit will return to Palo Alto, Barcelona’s dynamic green event space, bringing together some of the brightest talents and most influential figures from the global bar community. Through a stimulating lineup of seminars and events, attendees will gain valuable insights into sustainable practices and innovation shaping the industry.
This year, the program will expand to include a strong focus on “Social Sustainability,” addressing vital issues such as diversity, inclusivity, and empowerment within the industry, alongside discussions of pressing environmental challenges.
A Word from Giacomo Giannotti
“I am delighted that we are once again able to bring together the drinks industry’s most innovative minds to share their expertise on sustainable practices,” said Giannotti. “Our goal with the summit is not just to spark discussion for the global community but also to create a platform where we drive greater change for our local community.”
A Look Back at the 2024 Summit
The 2024 Paradiso Sustainability Summit drew an impressive 1,500 attendees, offering more than 24 hours of programming dedicated to sustainability. Highlights included participation from venues featured on The World’s 50 Best Bars list, such as Himkok, Tres Monos, and Alquímico, as well as local favorites like Creps Al Born and Dr. Stravinsky. This year’s edition is expected to be even more impactful, further solidifying Barcelona’s status as a global cocktail capital.
Cocktails with a Cause
A key highlight of the summit is the public cocktail festival, which will showcase sustainable brands, bars, and cocktails from around the world. The festival aims to inspire both industry professionals and cocktail enthusiasts, demonstrating how creativity and sustainability can coexist beautifully.
