Inside POP CITY X PONY: Full Menu & Experience

Singapore’s cocktail world enters a new chapter as POP CITY X PONY unveils the complete experience behind its much-anticipated concept. Created by Jigger & Pony Group in collaboration with The House of Suntory, the bar blends Japanese craft, modern subcultures, and creative hospitality into one cohesive, emotional space. The result is a venue that feels both energetic and deeply intentional, shaped by music, fashion, and the rhythms of contemporary Japan.

Inspired by duality, the menu and design move between POP, a world of expression and vibrant spontaneity, and CITY, a universe of refinement, structure, and quiet sophistication. The bar’s creative lead, Aki Eguchi, describes each cocktail as “a track or an outfit that tells a story,” inviting guests to discover new layers with every sip.

The POP cocktails channel Japan’s musical culture and the personalities of its artists. The Strawberry Love Punch blends Roku Gin, strawberry, basil, and sherry into a dreamy, nostalgic melody. Nu-Paper Plane adds Sansho pepper to the modern classic for a smooth yet electric twist. For fans of darker, rhythmic drinks, the HØJ1CHA €SPR€$$Ø MART1N1 merges Haku Vodka, hojicha, coffee, and mezcal in a techno-inspired beat that lingers long after the glass is empty.

The CITY collection mirrors the elegance of Japanese design. The Pop City Sour layers Hibiki Harmony Whisky, sour plum, and purple shiso-infused Cocchi Americano into a portrait of Shibuya sophistication. The Mikan French 75 brightens tradition with sparkling sake and citrus. Sakura Bamboo offers a delicate harmony of Roku Sakura Gin, sakura vermouth, and bamboo-leaf vodka, expressing the subtle craftsmanship that defines the bar’s ethos.

Beyond its signatures, POP CITY introduces Seasons in Motion, a rotating programme inspired by Japan’s 24 solar terms. Each month, two new cocktails appear, reflecting the poetic rhythm of seasonal change. Opening highlights include the Fuji Apple & Oyster Leaf Fizz for the heavy snow season and the Shiitake Mushroom Negroni for the winter solstice, showcasing the bar team’s evolving creative voice.

The design narrative unfolds across four distinct spaces, each capturing a different tempo of modern city life. The Byōbu Bar stands at the heart of the venue, framed by a hand-painted folding screen representing Japan’s 24 seasons. The Tasting Commons brings guests together around vintage Japanese vinyl, mid-century furniture, and a DJ-ready countertop. The intimate Bar Mixtape channels the charm of Tokyo’s pocket bars with whisky-lined shelves and listening stations. For quieter nights, the After Hours Salon offers a refined sanctuary with zaisu-inspired seating, kimono-textured banquettes, and warm, modern Japanese details.

Guests can also enjoy a food programme built around Japanese comfort and creativity. The Mochi Cheese Nuggets with Miso Curry Sauce deliver a molten, nostalgic crunch, while the Uni and Corn Croquette with Sea Urchin Butter Sauce layers rich umami into every bite. Together, the dishes complement the cocktails’ balance of texture, craft, and personality.

Happy Hour runs daily from 5:30pm to 8pm, offering a selection of cocktails between SGD $15–$17, alongside wines and Suntory Premium Malt on tap. For a bar built on emotional rhythm and imaginative hospitality, POP CITY stands as both a celebration of Japanese craft and a defining new chapter for Jigger & Pony Group.

Reservations are now open ahead of the venue’s launch on Friday, 5 December 2025.
