Global Cocktail Menu Database Empowers Bartenders Worldwide

Indie Bartender Launches First-Ever Global Cocktail Menu Database

Bartenders and hospitality professionals now have a new resource at their fingertips: the Global Cocktail Menu Database, a groundbreaking online database designed to inspire and educate. Launched by Indie Bartender, the platform founded by industry influencer Danil Nevsky, this free tool gathers and categorizes cocktail menus from around the world, offering insights into international bar culture, menu design, and drink innovation.

With over 106 menus collected so far from nearly 30 countries, the database allows users to explore menus by country, bar name, year, and keywords. More than just a repository, it serves as both an educational tool and a celebration of bartenders’ creativity, providing a global perspective on ingredients, presentation, and menu structuring.

A New Resource for the Bar Community

The Cocktail Menu Collection was created with two main goals: functionality and community building. It provides bartenders with a centralized hub to study drink recipes, discover new trends, and refine their menu design. At the same time, it credits the work of bartenders and bars, ensuring their contributions to the industry are recognized.

Each menu in the collection has been personally gathered by Nevsky, either from bars he has visited (with their approval) or through direct submissions from establishments. To further enhance its practical use, the platform will feature a content series analyzing menu highlights, breaking down their concepts, visual design, and structure. This analysis will help industry professionals better understand menu balance, naming conventions, branding, and guest experience.

Bridging the Knowledge Gap

Danil Nevsky, the founder of Indie Bartender, emphasizes the importance of this project:

“Cocktail menus are a huge part of a bar’s identity, yet unless you travel frequently, you only see snippets on Instagram. This database bridges that gap, offering bartenders a complete look at how menus are built, structured, and worded. This is just the beginning—we aim to exponentially grow this collection into an essential resource for the global bar industry.”

Powered by SIP, Pernod Ricard’s Global Trade Advocacy program, the Cocktail Menu Collection invites bars worldwide to submit their menus and team details, further expanding this invaluable resource for the industry.
