Wing Lei Bar & Friends launches at Wynn Palace as a year-long celebration of global bartending culture, marking a new chapter for one of Macao’s most influential cocktail destinations. The ambitious program debuts alongside the return of UNITY, the bar’s signature menu inspired by a year of international collaborations and creative exchange.
After hosting the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 awards ceremony and welcoming some of the world’s most respected bartenders, Wing Lei Bar enters what it calls its “sophomore season” with its most expansive creative program to date. The intimate 29-seat salon is transformed into a rotating stage for elite mixology talent, positioning Macao as a crossroads where global bar culture converges.
Curated by Head Mixologist Mark Lloyd, the UNITY menu distills a year of travel and friendships with bars from Buenos Aires to Bangkok. Drawing on his background in industrial chemistry and craft distilling, Lloyd combines scientific precision with deeply personal storytelling, placing relationships at the center of each cocktail rather than recipes alone.

The menu spans four stylistic families and reimagines classics through global influences, including a banana-laced Boulevardier inspired by Argentina’s Tres Monos, a traveling Margarita honoring tequila legend Julio Bermejo, and a bold reinterpretation of the Penicillin featuring oyster sauce and sand ginger. Each drink reflects the idea that modern cocktail culture is built as much on collaboration as on technique.
If UNITY captures the past year, Wing Lei Bar & Friends defines the future. The program unfolds in four quarterly volumes, each weekend takeover welcoming guest bars from a different region. Volume One launches with a focus on Asia, hosting celebrated bars from Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Penang, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Macao, before shifting in March to iconic cocktail capitals including New York, London, and Tokyo.
In an industry first, Wing Lei Bar introduces a collectible campaign inspired by football sticker albums. Guests ordering collaboration cocktails receive limited-edition stickers featuring visiting bartenders and their signature drinks, building a collector’s album that turns guest shifts into a playful cultural exchange.
For Wynn Palace, the initiative reflects a broader philosophy that luxury can remain joyful without sacrificing craft. The jewel-box interior of Wing Lei Bar remains the setting for Lloyd’s balance of precision and hospitality, reinforcing Macao’s growing reputation as a serious global cocktail capital.
UNITY is now available at Wing Lei Bar at Wynn Palace. Wing Lei Bar & Friends Volume One runs from January 23 to 25, with subsequent volumes continuing throughout 2026.
