The OurWhisky Foundation has officially launched the OurWhisky Foundation Community—the first digital platform designed to connect whisky industry professionals worldwide, with a special focus on empowering women in the sector.
Created to foster collaboration, education, and career growth, the platform offers features like one-to-one messaging, industry courses, exclusive content, curated discussion boards, and a jobs board. Members will also gain access to exclusive virtual events, live meetups, and networking opportunities—all aimed at building a more inclusive and connected whisky industry.
Becky Paskin, Founder of the OurWhisky Foundation, commented:
“Great things happen when people unite in pursuit of common goals. We’re excited to see how whisky professionals use the Community to collaborate, create, and connect across the world, contributing to a more inclusive and thriving industry.”
Executive Director Marissa Johnston added:

Gillian Macdonald, master blender and head of whisky creation at The Glenmorangie Company, also praised the platform as a vital new resource for industry connections, knowledge sharing, and career opportunities.
The launch is accompanied by a series of events, including interviews, house parties at major whisky festivals, and panel discussions centered on diversity and inclusion in the industry.
Memberships start at just £10 per month, with funds supporting platform operations and other initiatives by the Foundation.
