Paris’s First Tapped Cocktail Bar, The Honey Moon, Introduces New Autumn Menu

Paris’s iconic The Honey Moon Cocktail Bar, the city’s first bar to embrace a fully tapped cocktail concept, has launched its highly anticipated autumn cocktail menu. Designed around the rich flavors of the season, the new menu artfully combines innovation and comfort, offering guests a selection of drinks that range from refreshing spritzes to bold, spiced creations.

The cocktail menu is creatively divided into four unique sections: Citrus & Bubbles, Citrus No Bubbles, Bubbles No Citrus, and No Citrus No Bubbles, ensuring a diverse array of options for every palate. Highlights from the new offerings include:

  • Appletini: A nostalgic nod to the candy-apple martini of the ’90s, elegantly refined into a dry vodka martini.
  • Mizuwari No.2: A seasonal favorite featuring whiskey, umami-rich syrup, and toasted rice green tea, inspired by the classic Old Fashioned.
  • Jimmy Carter: A playful twist on the Boulevardier, made with peanut butter-infused bourbon, Carpano Bitter, Cherry Liqueur, and bubbles.
  • Châtaine (non-alcoholic): A warming blend of roasted chestnuts, cinnamon, allspice, and verjus.
  • Cherry Tonic (non-alcoholic): A vibrant mix of black cherry cordial and walnut-bay leaf-infused red wine reduction.

Innovation Meets Aesthetic

Located in the heart of Paris, The Honey Moon boasts a 90s-inspired ambiance with a postmodern aesthetic designed by architect Juliette Rubel. The decor blends copper tones, oxidized greens, and violet accents, with a centerpiece wall of functional yet artistic taps. Multi-colored lighting and a retro disco cylinder add energy to the space, while a curated soundtrack of 90s B-sides, R&B, and Spice Girls tracks completes the vibrant atmosphere.

Revolutionizing Cocktail Culture

“We’re always looking for ways to push the boundaries of cocktail culture,” says Creative Director and bartender Ben Wilson. “With tapped cocktails, we not only enhance service efficiency but also ensure that every drink is perfectly balanced and served at the ideal temperature.”

The Honey Moon’s menu is crafted in-house by its talented team, blending timeless classics with contemporary techniques. Their innovative approach underscores their commitment to rethinking cocktail culture while maintaining exceptional service and creativity.
